Plan a Welding Robot Project for Your Factory in Indonesia
Start with a project brief
For an Indonesian factory, a useful welding automation inquiry connects the workpiece requirements with the receiving site's location and installation responsibilities. Send this information before selecting a robot model or treating a published equipment price as the complete project budget.
Use this page to prepare a product or project inquiry with CBOXTEC for Indonesia. Specific configurations, delivery and support arrangements require project-specific confirmation.
What to include in your inquiry
| Information | What to send | What it helps clarify |
|---|---|---|
| Receiving site | City, province and factory location | Delivery destination and site coordination |
| Workpieces | Drawings, material, thickness, joint details and photos | Whether a proposed process and cell layout can be evaluated |
| Production | Part families, batch sizes, shifts and current cycle records | The production scenario to test |
| Existing equipment | Power source, fixtures, handling equipment and available space | What can be considered for reuse |
| Project team | Factory contact and any local integrator | Who will prepare, install and accept the system |
Keep commercially sensitive drawings out of public comments. Start with a short description and arrange a suitable method for sharing technical files with the sales team.
Choose a configuration around the work, not the catalogue label
Start with the part families you want to automate and identify the work that will remain manual. Use the robot product centre to review candidate equipment, then compare each proposed setup against the same fixture, torch access and loading requirements. For a welding cart, also discuss where it will be used and what setup must be repeated after relocation; mobility alone does not establish suitability.
If the project uses an existing robot from another brand, include its model, controller, welding interfaces and available documentation in the brief. CBOXTEC also undertakes welding projects involving other robot brands; compatibility and the division of work must be reviewed for the actual project.
Bring evidence to the investment discussion
Prepare one decision pack for the factory owner, production manager and purchasing team:
- The target part family and the production problem, with current measurements.
- Representative samples and written acceptance criteria, using the sample-trial checklist.
- Proposed equipment and fixtures, items to reuse, and work excluded from the quotation.
- The budget assumptions, responsible people and unresolved questions that could change the decision.
View the CBOXTEC project footage and application notes as context for discussion. The scenes do not establish a result for your factory or identify an installation in Indonesia.
Make delivery responsibilities explicit
Ask for a quotation that names the delivery destination and separates equipment supply, transport, import handling, onward delivery, installation and training. Confirm which company is responsible for each item rather than assuming a supplier's equipment price includes it.
For a site requiring additional transport after arrival, include that journey in the project brief. Ask the project team to identify the receiving equipment and access arrangements before agreeing a delivery schedule. These are planning questions, not a statement of import requirements or shipping charges.
What support arrangements should you confirm?
Before ordering, ask whether commissioning, training and replacement-parts support can be offered for your project, and by whom. Confirm the scope, location, language and any charges in writing. Do not assume that remote or on-site assistance is available or included without confirmation.
If you already have an Indonesian system integrator, include them in the discussion of fixtures, interfaces and acceptance. If you are an integrator or distributor, use the partner discussion guide.
Questions to resolve before choosing a model
Can I select a welding robot using reach alone?
Use reach as one input, then ask for a review of the proposed torch, workpiece access, mounting and complete cell arrangement. The buyer review checklist lists the evidence to request.
Is the website price a delivered Indonesia project price?
The website lists indicative equipment ranges. Request a project quotation and confirm the included equipment and services against your receiving location; do not infer a delivered total from the displayed range.
Does this page identify an authorized local distributor?
No distributor appointment is made by this page. Ask CBOXTEC to confirm any claimed representation and the proposed scope of local support directly.
Discuss your Indonesia project
Send a factory inquiry with your city, workpiece type and production requirements. You can also review robot arms, welding carts and quotation questions.
